A combined $85.8 million flowed into U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs on Friday, breaking a five-session outflow streak that had weighed on sentiment around the products. BlackRock's IBIT was the dominant recipient, capturing $57.7 million of the total, while Fidelity's FBTC contributed a further $18.0 million. Notably, not a single fund recorded a net outflow on the day, signalling a broad, if tentative, return of buyer interest. The reversal stands in contrast to ether ETFs, which continued to bleed capital with no signs of a similar recovery. The divergence highlights sustained institutional preference for bitcoin exposure over ether at this stage, even as both asset classes remain volatile amid shifting macroeconomic conditions.
